Abstrakt: | The article reports on the study conducted by the U.S. National Purchase Diary (NPD) Research regarding impulse buyers. The study reveals that impulse buyers represent 50 million consumers and $2 billion in annual sales and that 82 percent of consumers would buy a compact disc (CD) with exclusive DVD content of their favorite artists over the standard CD. NPD president of music and movies Russ Crupnick presented the findings of the study of which value add-ons make CDs and DVDs attractive. |
