The article focuses on the punitive measures employed by African single mothers against males as a diminution of fatherhood and parenthood cited by Senator Anne Cools during a forum hosted by Women of Promise Support Services and Outreach Ministry in Canada. Cools asserts that the government looks askance when a custodial parent denies the support payee access to children. She mentions that her effort to promote awareness of domestic violence resulted in her being characterized as a self-appointed high priestess. |
