Abstrakt: The article discusses the study on the effects of feeding a high-temperature-micro-time (HTMT)-treated diet of high quality extruded soybean (ESB) on trans-10, cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) in intramuscular fat and on the lipid metabolism of Holstein steers. One group is fed on a normal diet while two groups are fed on a diet containing ESB with or without HTMT treatment. It is found out that CLA content in the HTMT and non-HTMT-treated diets is higher than that in control diet.
