| Abstrakt: |
The article provides information on the outcome index for mental hospital patients in the U.S. The index associates time out of hospital to reexamination period since first admission and differently weights their ratio by the number of admittances and releases that has become stable on a 2 year follow-up and can be used as criteria for predicting its treatment efficiency and characterization of institutional policy. A graph and table depicting the successive outcome indices in varying years and a chi square analysis are presented. |
