Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study regarding the identification processes of narcotic drug addicts admitted in hospitals. It was aimed to examine their ability in identifying addicts. The identification skills of each addict was determined through their self-evaluation on habits, feelings, and attitudes. Addicts who attributed the evaluations to themselves were specified as high identifiers. High identifiers are expected to be more considerate than low identifiers on the lifestyles of addicts. They are also considered to have stronger and rebellious attitudes.
