| Abstrakt: | The article details the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to his birthplace in Marktl-am-Inn, Germany in September 2006. He walked down the street to greet the local citizenry. The altar servers chanted his name and when the pope heard it, he went to embraced them, holding one's face in his hands and touching their arms and shaking their hands. The pope was delighted by his informal encounter with the crowd. |
