| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which examines the relationship of group cohesiveness, communication level and conformity behavior. Subjects came from 15 on-going student organizations at the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State College. Seven groups of strangers were also used to validate a Group Cohesiveness Index. Each group met with the investigators to obtain their opinions on a subject of current interest to educators. Results showed a significant positive relationship between group cohesiveness and both communication level and conformity behavior. |
