The article cites a cross-cultural study of classifying societies in terms of their methods of aggressive expression as a response to the sources of frustration. The objective of the study is to explore the difference among various culturally defined frustrating agents and their aggressive responses. Among the issues focused by the research includes the different classes of apperceived frustrations, the apperceived targets of aggression, and the different classes of apperceived target aggression. Based on the study, the presence of a justifying belief for a particular response is difficult to classify in the type of analysis used in the study. |
