The article focuses on the Beyond the Zone System Exposure and Development Method. The method was developed by Phil Davis in 1981 which enables photographers to produce high quality, replicable results. The methodology was first used by Ansel Adams and Fred Archer. It takes advantage of the modern sensitometry and mathematical rigor used to test film and paper characteristics. |
