The article offers information on the changes occurring in the television coverage industry. The Home Secretary announced on May 20, 1980 that 99.9 percent of the population of Great Britain, Channel Islands and Isle of Man will be equipped with four-channels of 625-line television. He gave BBC and IBA permission to undergo a further joint relay station building to expand the UHF system. |
