The article offers information on methods that measure the illumination and luminance of a kinema screen. The two classes of methods, visual and photoelectric, the convenience with which they may be used and the accuracy which can be attained are discussed. Topics covered include screen luminances, the accuracy of portable visual photometers, photoelectric methods using a small angle of acceptance and screen luminance by measuring illumination and reflection. |
