Abstrakt: The article discusses the author's experience in javelina (gray-collared peccary) hunting in South Texas. He found them harmless due to their poor eyesight and normally passive characteristics. He considers them not a challenging target for skilled rifleman, since they always run rather than fight. He suggests using a sixgun or a bow as a means of hunting, but he preferred to use a revolver to put effort into the hunt.
