The article reports on the highlights of the 18th annual Afrofest music festival that is held at Queens Park in Toronto, Ontario from July 8 to 9, 2006. The festival which is sponsored by the Music Africa Inc. showcased a vast array of talented artists from Africa, such as Tapa Diarra and Amara Kante among others. Several exhibits are also featured in the event. Music Africa president Otimoi Oyemu and PRO Michael Stohr comments on the growth of the festival. |
