The article provides information on the benefits of conducting family night events at schools in the U.S. Events such as family nights are designed to be engaging and fun and teaches everyone more about academic content and learning strategies. They also serve as a safe and respectful way for schools and parents' and teachers' associations to reach out and get to know families that have been hesitant about getting involved in other school activities. Parents can be involved in organizing family nights by generating ideas and making phone calls to encourage people to attend. |
