| Abstrakt: |
The article comments on the criterion of adopting punishment methods for social situations. The punishment methods emerged from the economical, political and social changes in the 1960s which created new paradigms of violence. Many sociologists indicate that the punishment should not be considered as an outcome of crime. It should be seen as a social phenomenon developed from the legal concepts. Sociology aims to create social actions which can change the perception of the public towards the punishment methods in the modern society. |
