The article discusses the Kwazulu-Natal Biodiversity Programme of the Endangered Wildlife Trust in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. The KZN Biodiversity Programme aims to coordinate and improve the focus of several activities, making the most significant contribution to the conservation of the biodiversity in the province. Its focus will include the highly threatened species such as the Wattled Crane, Blue Swalow, Cape Parrot, and Oribi. The successful development of the program will create an improved allocation and sharing of resources between projects, increased focus on critical areas, and increased collaboration and coordination between projects that focuses on similar issues. |
