| Abstrakt: |
The article examines the experiences and perceptions of being a member of, and participating in a "predominantly gay" fitness facility. The alternative space was used as a way to connect with the gay community and become invisible for the women according to interviews with members and a member of management. It is suggested that the heterosexual participants described a temporary occupation of the space. |
