SECTION I: TEACHING ASPECTS AND THE THANATOLOGY CURRICULUM CONTENT: The Near-Death Experience: Implications for Nursing Education.

Autor: McEvoy, Mary Dee

Abstrakt: The chapter emphasizes the need to integrate the concepts of near-death experiences (NDE) to the nursing education in the U.S. If nursing students are to assist people in their responses to health and illness, they need to be knowledgeable about the NDE and its impact on people's lives. They also must know about the reality of the NDE and its effects. Hence, the topic is imperative in any thanatology curriculum.
