Abstrakt: The chapter explains the significance of integrating cremation concepts in the thanatology curriculum in the U.S. As cremation grows rapidly in acceptability and use in the country, health care educators face the increasing need to fuse cremation-related issues into the thanatology curriculum. They recognize the fact that if nurses and health care providers are to provide holistic care, they must be knowledgeable in cremation.
