The article focuses in the selection of a story appropriate for dramatization of a Halloween morning exercise at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, Illinois. The story was selected from the collection "Legendary Fiction of the Irish Celts," by Patrick Henry and was first told to a fifth-grade class. Furthermore, the idea of the story was conveyed, with considerable work in constructing a simple play and writing the necessary melody has been presented. The Irish version was used with modification in its presentation to the children. |
