The article presents the views of the author on saying yes or no to an acquaintance who asks for a favor. The author received an email from her friend asking her to secure tickets to the MTV Video Music Awards. She thought then that if she could manage to get tickets, she might as well use them herself. In an effort to communicate a no but still be civil, the author explained that it is tough to get tickets to such events and suggested to the friend to try purchasing the tickets on eBay. |
