| Abstrakt: |
This article focuses on a cohort study designed to examine health-related quality of life and utilization of health care services for veterans in ambulatory care setting. Participants in the study included male patients who used outpatient services between June 1993 and March 1996 at one of 4 Boston, Massachusetts-area Department of Veterans Affairs outpatient clinics. Patients with alcohol-related disorders were asked to fill up a self-report questionnaire, that included questions about the physical and behavioral consequences of drinking. |
