Abstrakt: | The article explores the issues concerning teacher response to first-year student writing. Teachers are highly encouraged to make use of their intervention with the writing processes of students. The teachers should acknowledge their audience when responding to the students texts and to consider where the audience is located in their own writing process. Teachers are encouraged to formulate their own teaching styles or methods that is best suited for their students. They should be aware of their own responses in considering the potential positive and negative effects of their interventions on their student's writing. |
