| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the essential features of the Rud syndrome. This disease is a mental defect, usually of low grade, epilepsy, infantilism and congenital ichthyosis. It was first described in 1972 by E. Rud. It has no known treatment, but the use of thyroid extract has been advocated by several experts. |
