Abstrakt:	The article provides information about the Association for Library Trustees and Advocates, an organization under the American Library Association (ALTA). The organization was founded in 1890 under the name American Library Trustee Association. It became a vision of the ALA in 1961. Membership is open to all individuals and organizations. Jane Rowland serves as the president for 2005-2006. "The Voice" is the organization's official publication. ALTA is committed to promoting and ensuring outstanding library service through educational programs.
