Abstrakt: The article relates the study on impulsivity-reflectivity used as problem solving styles among educable mentally retarded (EMR) children of New York City. Eighty EMR primary pupils were tested individually on a circular version of Kagan's MFF. It was suggested that it may be advisable to adopt class-room practices which are related to the problem-solving strategies employed by the child in order to maximize the value of his school experience.
