| Abstrakt: | The article presents the report of Research Committee of the American Association of Mental Deficiency. To develop a policy statement regarding the position of the Research Committee in regard to research is the responsibility of the committee. An expansion of the Association staff to be financed by regular funds is recommended by the committee to carry out the functions. |
