The article discusses how the West Virginia University Hospital obtained its Magnet Recognition status from the American Nurses Credential Center. Magnet designation is the highest recognition that a healthcare organization can achieve in the U.S. The first step in obtaining the designation is to gather and submit evidence to the credential center as indicated in the application program manual. The next step is the preparation for the survey which will then be followed by the actual survey. |
