Abstrakt: The article examines the behavioral significance of electroencephalography (EEG) abnormality in mental defectives. Study subjects are the EEG records of all mental subnormals who had been referred for EEG examination at the Wrentham State School. The study concludes that quantitatively derived EEG indices relate more effectively to retardates behavior that do clinically derived categories.
