Abstrakt: The article focuses on the marketing strategies of Whataburger Inc., a Corpus Christi, Texas-based hamburger chain. It also presents information on various food products being offered on its menu. The company's vice president of supply management, Dino Del Nano witnessed the success his company's biscuits and gravy item was showing on its breakfast menu, but was looking to tap into the grab-and-go market without having to invest in new products. For operations like Whataburger, grab-and-go items are key to attracting customers. Del Nano and his team spent six months redesigning the Whataburger breakfast biscuit to come up with a product that could sustain the weight of egg, cheese and a choice of either bacon or sausage. To increase product quality, Del Nano and his team worked with a vendor to develop a new egg ring with a larger diameter, as well as producing a larger sausage patty. Pierce Wing Dings® chicken wings come with a delicious golden breading and are available in three meaty and tender sizes. Con Agra has made menuing Mexican easier with new Fernando's® Value Tacos. Ideal for quick-service operations, convenience stores and colleges, these crisp, corn-tortilla tacos are fast, easy and proven profit-producers on any menu.
