Abstrakt: The article discusses the development of psychological clinics for retarded children in North Carolina. North Carolina State Board of Public Welfare has interest on mental health and mental retardation. The interest was induced through the results of the first psychological testing conducted at correctional schools. The realistic planning for retarded children provides training and widespread intelligent use of individual psychological studies in order to determine the scope of their abilities.
