Abstrakt: The article discusses the branch of medical balance that studies Hepatitis B virus in an institution for mentally retarded persons. Most patients at Lynchburg Training School and Hospital are affected with Hepatitis B virus and have acquired either an antibody response or remained chronic Hepatitis B surface antigen carriers. It is very common to retarded patients to have parental transmissions via infectious blood contamination of abrasions and other skin wounds.
