The article focuses on the indictment filed against Representative Tom DeLay for breaking the state camapaign finance laws in the U.S. The case was based on the allegation that involves DeLay in the illegal transaction of a sum of money to be used for the coming election in Texas. Arguments from supporters are presented defending the innocence of the politicians which include professor Edward Foley and former Federal Election Commission Commissioner Bradley Smith. |
