Abstrakt: The article presents a comparative study related to the learning of visual discrimination among mentally retarded (MR) individuals. Two experiments were observed, writing of words in black pen with white background and composing in white with a black background. The findings show that words in black background attracts the subject and enhances discrimination sense in severe and moderate MR.
