| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a survey of educational research in institutions for the mentally retarded in the U.S. The American Association on Mental Deficiency as well as various federal agencies are interested in the feasibility and the need for a survey directed toward obtaining such information. The statistics which are presented in the report are based on the returns from forty-two state-owned and five privately-owned institutions. Finally, it seems clear that strong research exist in the institutions for the mentally retarded. |
