The article presents a study on primate genetics and its significance for investigating molecular disease in man. The dermatoglyphic phenomena in Macaca mulatta monkeys are observed in order to account tissue differentiation during development and measure genetic expression during embryogenesis. The chromosome karyograms from experimental primates and from man are described in relation to phylogenetic mechanisms which are beneficial in cytogenetic disease of man. |
