Abstrakt: This article comments on the universal relationship of humankind with nature, which according to the author, is one of both solace and terror. It is a dichotomy in precarious balance. The article discusses how people seldom think of the harsh reality of nature when they seek it. The complexity of the call of nature is examined. The author believes that nature holds universal truths and a beguiling sense of peace. Death, according to the author, is always within arm's reach wherever we go. But, in nature, he finds spontaneous worship.
