The article reports on the center of America's documentary distribution industry--New York City. New York has the theaters, producers and audiences to support a documentary film industry. Filmmakers from around the world are represented by New York-based distributors. Documentary films are enjoying a surge in popularity that is broadening their appeal to audiences and distributors, but New York remains the epicenter of the industry. |
