| Abstrakt: | The article talks about the VI International Symposium of Spanish Keyboard Music held at the Benedictine Monastery of San Pedro de las Dueñas in Castile, Spain, from September 16 to 17, 2005. The symposium, titled "Keyboard Music in the Female Monasteries and Convents of Spain," had presentations about the musical activity of nuns in Spain and the New World. It discussed music and the role it played in the lives of the nuns and how being a musician could raise one's social standing. |
