| Abstrakt: |
The article studies the threshold for pure tone and speech in people with mental disorders. The study indicates that both threshold for speech and pure tone should be used for diagnosing hearing loss in retardates. The speech threshold test seemed to cause less difficulties than the pure tone test in the retardates, appeared to be a better indicator of the ability of an individual to interact with the environment, and would therefore be the test of choice. |
