| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study which analyzed the link between the communication skills of health care providers and medical care outcome. The American Association of Critical Care Nurses conducted the study and have identified the major communication problems facing health care providers. The findings of the study have great implications for health care administration. It emphasized the need for medical students and current practitioners of the profession to deal with communication issues that are relevant to their professional practice. The study recommended research to determine best practices to develop communication skills. |
