The article discusses the difficulties underlying information security. The provision of security is a negative deliverable. Most computer operating systems used by various corporations to run their critical infrastructure is the same with the ones used by adversaries, so adversaries can probe weakness privately and spread it with other people through the Internet. Security solutions need to focus to the value of the information protected and the possibility that an attacker will try to compromise the information. |
