Abstrakt: The article examines animal figures that are used as symbol in the art of combat. The technical attributes of fighting must be balanced with the meta-physical attributes represented by animal figures. Each animal figure and its relative position with respect to the figure of the man, refers to a particular attribute or trait of a fighter. Each of these animals wear a golden collar which identifies the master. This implies that these attributes are possessed by the master swordsman and therefore, implies that these are master attributes or traits. Some of these animal figures include the lynx, lion, elephant and tiger.
