Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the use of the Galerkin method for solving stationary equations of convection in Boussinesq approximation. Convection influences the process of formation of crystal by controlling temperature in crystallizing substance. The process of convection can be investigated through mathematical modelling. Motion of particles added into melt can be used to discover convection. Some of the suggested trial functions use the Boussinesq equations as mathematical model of convection. The solutions of the Boussinesq equations practically correspond to the ones accomplished by neglecting nonlinear terms in these equations. |
