Abstrakt: The article provides information on endoscopy, an imaging method for visual examination of the interior of a hollow body organ such as the colon, bladder or stomach which is widely used in the gastroentestinal tract. It identifies various specialized instruments developed to image specific gastrointestinal organs including gastroscopes which are used to examine the esophagus, stomach and duodenum passing through the mouth, enteroscopes which are applied to test the check the intestine and colonoscopes which are used to monitor the lower gastroentestinal tract..
