Abstrakt: The article offers an analysis of plays written by U.S. dramatist May Miller. This analysis was made on the basis of many factors including critical and popular response to the plays and the impact of the plays at the time of production. It also addresses the influence of Miller as a perceived role model in terms of innovative subject matter and techniques. In addition, this article explores the present-day attitudes about the work of Miller.
