| Abstrakt: | The chapter discusses the boundaries of feminist theory. The author addresses feminism within a greater context of oppression. The author feels that it is possible to shift perspectives and allow the female-centeredness of feminism to recede into the background without disappearing. The present and past circumstances of oppression no doubt exert the influence of feminists, but they are not invincible, and the social order they sustain is not immutable. |
