| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the importance of brick durability. Two properties which are relevant with regard to durability are resistance to damage by frost and soluble salts content. Frost resistance is essential when choosing a brick for external walls. To decide on what mortar to use for brickwork depends on the soluble salt content. |
