The article discusses the conditions of health insurance deduction rules in the United States governing the eligibility of deduction relevant to the entitlement of a self-employed individual to participate in a subsidized health plan maintained by an employer. Deductible premiums include coverage for the taxpayer, the taxpayer's spouse and dependents. Further authoritative guidance may be needed to resolve some issues related to the subsidized plan eligibility limitation. |
