The article presents information about several flowers. There is not much flowering in the garden in November, but it need not be colorless. One just has to fall back on berried plants and look for color in the changing leaves. Cotoneaster horizontalis originally came from China--its herringbone pattern branches give it structure and shape all year round, while its pretty pink flowers are a pleasure in June. But at this time of the year, its thickly clustered red berries and leaves are a must. |
